The Lorain County Board of Commissioners is soliciting Statements of Qualifications (SOQ) from qualified firms and individuals to provide professional services related to labor and employment. Services may include collective bargaining contract negotiations, labor and employment counsel, representation at disputes, civil service classifications, compensation plans, health plan designs, discipline hearings, employment investigations, legal services relevant to public sector employment laws, public relations and communications related to employees, and representation at administrative hearings. Selected firms may provide services on a project-specific, continuing, or as-needed basis. The County reserves the right to select one or more firms and establish a list of pre-qualified providers.
