NIST's Physical Measurement Laboratory is seeking a 4K Cryogen Free Cryostat system for advanced low-temperature electrical metrology research. - Government Buyer: - National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST), Physical Measurement Laboratory, Applied Electrical Metrology group - OEMs and Vendors: - Photon Spot (OEM of the referenced Cryospot 5) - Equivalent manufacturers may compete - Products/Services Requested: - 4K Cryogen Free Cryostat (Photon Spot Cryospot 5 or equivalent) - Pulse tube coldhead, helium damping pot and buffer tank, water-cooled compressor, flexible lines, electrical isolation, 500 mW cooling power at 4.2 K, temperature controller, thermal and magnetic shielding, multiple coaxial lines and vacuum ports - Additional RF coaxial wiring (4x BeCu 0.086 OD semirigid lines with 2.92 mm connectors) - Additional miniature coaxial wiring (8x 0.047 OD semirigid lines with SMP and SMA connectors) - Vacuum pumping system (oil-free roughing/turbo station, vacuum gauge, pneumatic valve, relay control via vendor software) - Shipping and receiving services - Notable Requirements: - All equipment must be new and include a minimum one-year warranty - Delivery required within 300 days after order - Compliance with detailed technical specifications for low-temperature metrology - Inspection, acceptance, and performance testing upon delivery
