This opportunity seeks a contractor to provide comprehensive occupational health examination and surveillance services for U.S. Army local national employees at Camp Darby, Livorno, Italy. - Government Buyer: - U.S. Army Medical Command, Public Health Command Europe, Occupational Health Office (OHO) - U.S. Army Medical Readiness Contracting Office West, JBSA Ft Sam Houston - Scope of Services: - Occupational health examinations for approximately 2,750 local national employees over five years - Services must comply with Italian Legislative Decree 81/2008 and U.S. privacy laws (HIPAA, Italian Data Protection Authority) - Examinations and surveillance must be performed by certified Occupational Health Physicians (Medico Competente) licensed in Tuscany - Accredited laboratory services required for all medical tests - Products and Services Requested: - Preventive, periodic, termination, and special occupational health exams - EKG/ECG, vision screening, audiograms, pulmonary function tests - Specialist referrals, urinalysis, blood collection, drug and alcohol testing - Laboratory tests: Hepatitis B/C, Varicella, MMR, HIV, chemistry panels, metal screening (lead, hippuric acid, etc.) - Worksite risk assessments, meetings, and reporting - Emergency and flexible health examination availability - Notable Requirements: - Physicians must have current credentials in Occupational Health Surveillance (Medico Competente) as per Italian law - Contractor must provide rapid laboratory result delivery and maintain strict privacy compliance - Approximately 45 health exams per month, with detailed line item quantities for all tests and services - OEMs and Vendors: - No specific OEMs or commercial vendors are named; the opportunity is open to qualified medical service providers and accredited laboratories

Description

Public Health Command-Europe (PHC-E) and Occupational Health Services at Camp Darby, Livorno, Italy. Non-personal services to provide Health Surveillance Services to all U.S. Army in Europe (USAREUR) Local National (LN) employees in accordance with Italian Legislative Decree 81/2008 (Testo Unico sulla Salute e Sicurezza sul Lavoro, D.lgs. 9 Aprile 2008, n. 81 e s.m.i.), revision November 2020, as well as Conditions of Employment for Local National Employees of the U.S. Armed Forces in Italy (COE) effective 1 November 2018, to include all future updates and revisions.

Occupational Examinations of LN employees must be conducted by qualified physicians fully licensed to practice medicine in the Tuscany Region, with, at a minimum, with steady current credentials in Occupational Health Surveillance (Medico Competente) in accordance with Article 38 (Titoli e requisiti del medico competente) of the Legislative Decree 81/2008.
