NASA Langley Research Center, through the NASA Shared Services Center (NSSC), is seeking sole source services for the modification and recertification of a high-pressure gaseous oxygen (GOX) tube trailer. - Government Buyer: - NASA Langley Research Center, managed by NASA Shared Services Center (NSSC) - OEMs and Vendors: - WELDSHIP LLC identified as the sole source provider - Sherwood (manufacturer of Sherwood 1882 valves) - Products/Services Requested: - Modification and recertification of one government-owned GOX tube trailer (Asset NA00204T #1364) - Disassembly, inspection, and replacement of: - Two Sherwood 1882 valves - Two HP2000 pneumatic-actuated valves - Hydrostatic pressure testing, cleaning, painting, leak testing - Delivery of the trailer filled with 99.5% pure oxygen - Compliance with DOT, CGA, and NASA standards - Pick-up and delivery to NASA Langley included - Unique/Notable Requirements: - Sole source procurement to WELDSHIP LLC as the only qualified provider - All work must meet Department of Transportation (DOT), Compressed Gas Association (CGA), and NASA requirements - Trailer consists of 30 ICC 3A-2400 cylinders - Delivery must include trailer filled with high-purity (99.5%) oxygen
