Description
The U.S. Department of Commerce has determined that countervailable subsidies are being provided to producers and exporters of silicon metal from Norway during the period of investigation from January 1, 2024, through December 31, 2024. This final affirmative countervailing duty determination applies as of June 30, 2026. The investigation covers all forms and sizes of silicon metal containing at least 85.00 percent but less than 99.99 percent silicon, excluding semiconductor grade silicon.
