The Region of Peel is seeking an architectural firm to provide full architectural and professional consulting services for the design, construction contract administration, and Canada Green Building Council Zero Carbon Building Design for the expansion of the Surveyor Shelter in Mississauga, Ontario. Services include design development, detailed design, securing site plan approvals, obtaining conditional permits, preparing construction drawings and tender packages, obtaining building permits, coordinating with regulatory bodies, and providing construction contract administration. The project site is approximately 1.4 hectares and currently operates a 108-room emergency shelter, with plans to add approximately 42 additional family shelter units in a 2 or 3 storey design.
