The Enforcement Bureau of the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) announces that for the year 2026, there will be no adjustments to civil forfeiture penalties for inflation as required by the Federal Civil Penalties Inflation Adjustment Act Improvements Act of 2015. This decision follows guidance from the Office of Management and Budget (OMB) which cancelled the inflation adjustment for 2026. Consequently, the civil monetary penalties will remain at the 2025 levels. These penalties apply to civil monetary penalties assessed on and after June 17, 2026.
