Nassau Health Care Corporation (NHCC) is seeking a qualified vendor to provide comprehensive hospital television services for Nassau University Medical Center (NUMC) and A. Holly Patterson Extended Care Facility in Nassau County, NY. - Government Buyer: - Nassau Health Care Corporation (NuHealth System), Department of Legal Affairs - Scope of Work: - Furnish, install, maintain, and support commercial television programming and all required equipment for approximately 1,033 patient/resident beds - Integrate with existing headend/RF distribution infrastructure or propose migration to fiberoptic/IP-based system - Provide 24/7 technical support, preventive maintenance, emergency response, and replacement of failed provider-owned equipment - Products/Services Requested: - Commercial television programming - Headend/distribution equipment - Technical support and maintenance services - Unique Requirements: - Solution must not transmit or store Protected Health Information (PHI) - Support or improve multilingual programming, including dedicated Korean and Chinese channels - Minimum 5 years of experience providing hospital/healthcare TV services - Ability to provide local technical support - 6% Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Business (SDVOB) goal and 30% Minority/Women Business Enterprise (MWBE) goal - OEMs and Vendors: - No specific OEMs mandated; Direct TV noted as previous contract holder - Vendors must supply all required equipment and services - Delivery Options: - Maintain/upgrade existing coaxial infrastructure or replace with fiber/IP-based system
