Description
The Fair Housing Initiatives Program (FHIP) - Fair Housing Organizations Initiative (FHOI) provides competitive awards to eligible non-profit and other fair housing organizations to build capacity for fair housing enforcement activities. The program supports the development or implementation of initiatives enforcing rights under the Fair Housing Act, especially in underserved areas or where large concentrations of protected classes exist. Funding is available under two components: Continued Development Component (CDC) for capacity building and Establishing New Organizations Component (ENOC) for new organizations. The program aims to strengthen the fair housing movement nationally by assisting in the creation and growth of organizations focused on localized rights and needs.
