Los Angeles County Public Works is seeking a qualified vendor to provide Low & High Voltage Electrical Safety Training for approximately 80 employees: - Buyer: Los Angeles County Public Works, Internal Services Department, Employee Health & Safety (EHS) Training Coordinator - Service requested: 8-hour classroom training on electrical hazards, energized parts, hazardous energy control, grounding/bonding, and electrical accidents - Training must reference NFPA 70E 2024 and California Title 8 Regulations - Includes written exam, training manual, audio/visual aids, certificates of completion, and pre-inspection of training site - Training to be delivered at designated field locations within Los Angeles County - Up to 15 classes (max 20 students per class) scheduled during Public Works operating hours (Monday–Thursday, 6:30 a.m.–5 p.m.) - Vendor requirements: - Minimum 5 years of professional safety training experience - Trainers must have at least 5 years' experience and have taught at least 5 electrical safety classes annually in recent years - Must provide resumes, work plan, sample materials, and at least three references from large customers - Must supply all training equipment and materials - Insurance: $2M general liability, $1M auto liability, $1M workers compensation - No specific OEMs or proprietary products are required; focus is on compliance with regulatory standards and quality of training

Los Angeles County Public Works is seeking proposals for Low & High Voltage Electrical Safety Training to be provided through December 2027. The training includes an 8-hour classroom curriculum covering electrical hazards, working near energized parts, hazardous energy control procedures, grounding/bonding, and electrical accidents, with a written exam.
