The Kansas Corporation Commission is seeking qualified contractors to provide comprehensive wellhead control, site restoration, and remediation services for abandoned oil and gas wells in eastern Kansas. - Government Buyer: - Kansas Corporation Commission (KCC), through the Kansas Department of Administration, Office of Procurement and Contracts - Scope of Work: - Establish a pre-qualified pool of contractors for materials, services, equipment, and labor related to abandoned wellhead control, verification, spill mitigation, and remediation - Services include investigation, excavation, surface control, fluid removal, soil stabilization, and spill mitigation at abandoned well sites - Contractors must provide at least 20% of direct labor or equipment - Products and Equipment Requested: - Back hoe (tractor mounted loader/backhoe, 50+ HP) - Dozer (D5 or larger, with winch and cable) - Track hoe (mini excavator) - Dump truck - Winch truck - Skid loader - Vacuum truck (70 barrel or greater) - Welding/torch services (cutting torch and arc welding) - Roustabout services - Oil absorbing materials, booms, surface casing, valves, and other restoration materials - Services Requested: - Site restoration/remediation services, including labor, equipment operation, and material supply - Notable Requirements: - Contractors must be licensed under K.S.A. 55-155 - Pricing based on hourly rates for labor/equipment and per barrel disposal fees - No guaranteed minimum or maximum work volume; contract allows for periodic vendor pool refreshes - Annual price adjustments capped at 5% - No specific OEMs or vendors are named; opportunity is open to all qualified providers of the required equipment and services

Description

The Kansas Corporation Commission is soliciting proposals for Wellhead Control under a Request for Proposal (RFP) process. The contract period is from the date of award through July 31, 2031. Bidders must submit a current Tax Clearance Certificate and comply with various state requirements including the Immigration Reform and Control Act.
