Sauk County Sheriff's Office is seeking a turnkey solution for inmate communications and information systems at its jail facility. - Government Buyer: - Sauk County Sheriff's Office, Corporation Counsel - Contact: James Witecha - Products and Equipment Requested: - Inmate Telephones: 2 durable, detention-grade non-coin telephones, including at least two ADA compliant units - Inmate Kiosks: 1 wall-mounted kiosk per housing unit for information access, grievances, law library, commissary, and messaging - Inmate Tablets: 20 portable, secure tablets with 24-hour battery life, headphone jack, and features for calls, messaging, content access, commissary, education, and games - Mobile Kiosk Systems: 2 mobile kiosks with Wi-Fi and AC power - Services Requested: - Installation, furnishing, and maintenance of all equipment at no cost to the county - 24/7 support, remote diagnostics, and staff training - Notable Requirements: - All equipment must be detention-grade and ADA compliant where specified - Integration with existing jail management systems - System must include web-based software for management, call monitoring, recording, and fraud prevention - Vendor responsible for all costs, including installation and ongoing maintenance - Comprehensive proposal required demonstrating relevant experience - No specific OEMs or vendors are named in the solicitation.

Description

This Request for Proposal (RFP) seeks proposals for an Inmate Telephone, Video Visiting, Informational Kiosk system, and Tablets for use in the Sauk County Jail located in Baraboo, Wisconsin. The equipment must include intuitive web-based software, wall-mounted telephones and kiosks, and portable tablet devices. The vendor is responsible for installation, furnishing, and maintenance of the equipment at no cost to the Sauk County Jail.
