Description

The City of Charlotte is seeking qualified firms or individuals to provide comprehensive state lobbying services that advance the City’s legislative, regulatory, and funding priorities. Selected partners will represent the City before the state’s legislative and executive branches, offering strategic guidance, ongoing monitoring of governmental activity, and active advocacy on issues affecting City operations and programs. Services will be performed under the direction of the City’s Government Relations staff and will support a wide range of priority areas including aviation, economic development, workforce development, environmental quality, transportation infrastructure, housing, public safety, public transportation, stormwater, local government finance and procurement, telecommunications, water and sewer, and other emerging City Council priorities.
