Mt. San Antonio College Facilities Maintenance is seeking prequalified contractors for roofing repairs and partial replacements on campus buildings 2M, 2T, 9A, and 69. - Project Scope: - Restoration and replacement of deteriorated roofing systems - Use of either a reinforced fluid-applied waterproofing system or a 72-mil PVC felt back membrane system - Basis of design is a manufacturer-certified system from Sika/Sarnafil - Key Requirements: - 20-year full system warranty and contractor workmanship warranty - Removal and replacement of flashings, coping, walk pads, and expansion joints - Repair and preparation of existing substrates - Installation of new adhered membranes with robotic hot-air welded seams - Compliance with ES-1 edge metal and California Title 24 energy requirements - Cover board installation, parapet and metal edge detailing, drain improvements, equipment curb encapsulation, walkway pads - Strict quality control measures including manufacturer inspections - Contractor Qualifications: - Valid California C-39 Roofing license - Registration with California Department of Industrial Relations - Compliance with Community Workforce Agreement (CWA) - Only prequalified contractors will be invited to bid in the next phase - OEM Highlight: - Sika/Sarnafil is the specified basis of design for roofing systems
