SUNY Polytechnic Institute is seeking bids for advanced laboratory instrumentation to support its Semiconductor Processing and Training Center and Biomedical Materials initiatives. - Government Buyer: - State University of New York (SUNY) – SUNY Polytechnic Institute, Procurement Assistant - Equipment Requested: - Bench Top Scanning Electron Microscope (SEM) with Energy Dispersive Spectroscopy (EDS) and Electron Backscatter Diffraction (EBSD) - Includes Schottky Field Emission Electron Gun, multiple detectors, motorized 5-axis stage, vacuum system, and advanced software - X-ray Photoelectron Spectroscopy (XPS) System with depth profiling, imaging, and optional Raman spectroscopy - Features high-brightness monochromated Al K X-ray source, hemispherical analyzer, charge neutralization, ion sputtering, and automation software - DualBeam Focused Ion Beam-Scanning Electron Microscope (FIBSEM) with EDS and EBSD - Includes integrated SEM and FIB columns, EDS/EBSD detectors, motorized 5-axis eucentric stage, gas injection system, nanomanipulator, and automation software - Services Required: - Onsite installation, calibration, and commissioning by OEM-certified technicians - Onsite training for operators and technical staff (minimum two full days per instrument) - Notable Requirements: - Bidders must be OEMs or authorized dealers with at least ten years of experience in SEM, XPS, and FIB-SEM technologies - All equipment must have U.S. safety certifications (UL/NRTL), meet OSHA requirements, and be supported by a minimum three-year warranty (with optional extension) - Service response within five business days - All documentation and correspondence in American English and U.S. currency - No specific OEMs are named; opportunity is open to all qualified manufacturers and authorized dealers

SUNY Polytechnic Institute is soliciting bids from responsible and responsive vendors to supply a Bench Top SEM, XPS System, and FIB‑SEM that meet or exceed the specified requirements for use in an educational setting. The procurement will establish a one-time purchase order awarded to the lowest responsible bidder. Bidders must submit all mandatory attachments with their response electronically by the specified due date. The procurement is subject to New York State Finance Law sections 139j and 139k, restricting contact to the designated individual.
