The City of Calgary is seeking qualified vendors to provide maintenance, inspection, and repair services for fire department heavy fleet vehicles. - Government Buyer: - City of Calgary, Calgary Fire Department - Scope of Services: - Maintenance, inspection, and repair of fire apparatus, including engines, rescue trucks, and aerial trucks - Pump testing in accordance with current NFPA standards - Commercial Vehicle Inspection Program (CVIP) inspections for trucks - Aerial device inspections, maintenance, and certifications as per manufacturer recommendations and NFPA standards (including non-destructive testing) - Additional repair work as needed, based on work orders - Pick-up and delivery of units - After-hours call-out coverage - Overflow work from in-house maintenance - Requirements: - Compliance with all relevant NFPA standards - Suppliers must have an SAP Ariba account to access RFQ documents - The City may choose to perform work internally or assign to qualified vendors - No specific OEMs, part numbers, or vendors are named in the notice - Contract duration is 24 months

Description

The solicitation is for maintenance, inspections, and repairs on fire apparatus as specified in work orders provided by the Calgary Fire Department. Services include maintenance and repairs, pump testing according to NFPA standards, Commercial Vehicle Inspection Program for trucks, aerial device inspections and certifications, and other repair work as required.
