The Kanaka Bar Indian Band is seeking a qualified proponent to design and construct the new Chief Spintlum Elders Lodge in Lytton, British Columbia. The project involves constructing an energy-efficient, climate-resilient building that provides a safe, culturally appropriate space for Elders to age in place, meeting Net Zero Carbon and FireSmart standards. The lodge will include 7 independent living units, 6 assisted living units, a commercial kitchen, solar panels, battery energy storage system, elevator, and accessibility features.
