The Western Area Power Administration, Desert Southwest Region (Department of Energy), is seeking contractor support for a data center re-cabling project at its Phoenix Campus. - Buyer: Western Area Power Administration, Desert Southwest Region, Phoenix Campus - Project scope: - Installation of eight (8) 240VAC NEMA L6-20R locking-type receptacles, each on a dedicated 20-amp circuit - Installation of eight (8) 120VAC NEMA 5-20R receptacles, each on a dedicated 20-amp circuit - All circuits must be distributed between independent A-side and B-side power sources for redundancy - Furnishing and installing a code-compliant underfloor electrical gutter/raceway system (16-gauge steel, open top, removable hinge covers, knockouts) for protected conductor routing beneath the raised floor - Complete wiring, labeling, testing, documentation, and commissioning - All labor, materials, equipment, supervision, and permits are required from the contractor - No specific OEMs or product brands are specified; standard NEMA receptacles and raceway systems are referenced - Work is to be performed during standard business hours, with after-hours work requiring advance approval - The government is seeking industry feedback on the draft Statement of Work and contractor qualifications for work in a secure, CIP-controlled environment
Description
1. The Western Area Power Administration, Desert Southwest Region has a requirement for a contractor to provide all the labor, materials, tools, equipment, transportation, and other resources necessary to complete the Installation of Dedicated 120VAC and 240VAC Receptacles for Data Center Re-cabling Project, in Phoenix, AZ 85009. The work includes but is not limited to: furnish and install a code-compliant underfloor gutter system capable of distributing both 120 VAC and 240 VAC branch circuits from designated electrical panels to strategically located receptacles serving the new SCADA equipment racks, workstations, and supporting devices. See attached DRAFT Statement of Work for more information.
2. Respondents are encouraged to provide any feedback, comments and questions regarding the draft document. Specifically, the government is seeking feedback about:
