Description

Higher education and not-for-profit research institutions in New York State are eligible to apply for matching funds to leverage resources from federal or private sources, including the National Science Foundation and the National Institute of Health. To qualify, institutions must meet a minimum 2:1 matching requirement, meaning for every dollar received from the state, at least two dollars must come from outside sources. Eligible funds are those received from granting entities or private industries that remain in New York State.
