Description

The State University of New York at Upstate Medical University is soliciting sealed bids for modifications to the existing electrical systems at the Institute for Human Performance (IHP) building. The project includes providing a new 300A Automatic Transfer Switch (ATS), installing a 150 kVA Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS), connecting to existing utility switchboard and Power Distribution Unit (PDU), and additional work such as new emergency power switchboard, equipment upgrades, parts replacement, preventive maintenance, wireless monitoring, shunt trip breaker panel, activation connections, and power feeders. The contract term is 180 calendar days from the Notice to Proceed. Bids are due by 2:00 PM local time on August 11, 2026, and must be submitted in duplicate with a 5% security deposit.
