The selected firm will assist the County in enhancing plan performance, ensuring compliance, supporting long-term financial sustainability, and strengthening the County’s ability to offer competitive, cost-effective benefits to employees. The County currently has 761 members enrolled in its self-funded Medical plan, covering 100% of medical, dental, vision, and basic life premiums for benefit eligible employees. Voluntary benefits such as supplemental life, accident, hospital indemnity, short term disability, and long-term disability are also offered, paid through payroll deductions by employees.
