Description

The Carson City Airport Authority is soliciting sealed bid proposals for the Runway Safety Area Grading and Drainage Project at Carson City Airport. The project involves removing existing unpaved shoulders and replacing them with new asphalt paved shoulders, grading adjacent infield areas to provide positive drainage, striping new runway edge lines, and adjusting existing runway edge lights and miscellaneous electrical components to grade. The project also includes extending the runway 1000 feet to the north and 500 feet to the south, repaving the existing runway portion, relocating the runway 33 glide slope, and activating the new runway 33 localizer installed by FAA Technical Operations.
