Description
This project involves updating network cabling, distributed antenna system wiring, and audio/video surveillance wiring in legacy buildings at the San Joaquin Delta Community College District's Stockton campus, excluding five newer facilities. The existing cables are surface-mounted in conduits due to the age of the buildings. The District intends to relocate the cabling within walls and above ceilings or minimize surface raceways to improve aesthetics and infrastructure performance. The procurement will be conducted in two steps: a Request for Qualifications (RFQ) followed by a Request for Proposal (RFP) for pre-qualified firms. The project will be delivered using the Design-Build method and includes compliance with a Project Labor Agreement and an Owner Controlled Insurance Program.
