Description
This solicitation is for maintenance and repair work on the Castle Street Boat Ramp and the riverwalk supports at Anne Bonnys in Wilmington, North Carolina. The work includes cleaning and re-coating support piles, installing kingboard along piles, cleaning, patching, and re-coating sheet piles, repairing sections of the timber bulkhead, reattaching the weep pipe, replacing and painting a bollard, repairing or replacing steel support brackets, and replacing cross braces and bolts as required. Bidders must be properly licensed under Chapter 87, N.C. General Statutes and make good faith efforts to subcontract 14% of the contract value to minority, socially, and/or economically disadvantaged businesses. A pre-bid conference is scheduled for July 14, 2026.
