Miami-Dade County Water and Sewer Department (WASD) is seeking bids for hauling and disposal services for dewatered biosolids from its Central and North District Wastewater Treatment Plants (CDWWTP and NDWWTP). - Government Buyer: - Miami-Dade County Strategic Procurement Department, on behalf of Water and Sewer Department (WASD) - Scope of Work: - Hauling and disposal of Class B and Non-Class B biosolids produced at CDWWTP and NDWWTP - Two groups solicited for operational flexibility: - Group 1A: 6–10 loads per day (approx. 150–250 tons/day) - Group 1B: 4–6 loads per day (approx. 100–150 tons/day) - Disposal methods include composting, offsite Class AA treatment, land application, landfill disposal, or any other lawful, County-approved method - Compliance with Chapter 62-640, F.A.C., and all relevant federal, state, and local regulations - Optional Services: - Operator and yard truck support for moving, loading, weighing, and staging semi-trailers - Mobilization/demobilization fees for temporary dewatering operations - Contract Structure: - Up to two contracts may be awarded (one per group) based on lowest responsive and responsible bids - Bidders must price all items within their group - Bidders must demonstrate capacity, proper licensing, equipment, and provide references - No specific OEMs or vendors are named; the opportunity is open to qualified service providers - Estimated annual volumes: - Group 1A: ~39,000–65,000 tons/year - Group 1B: ~26,000–39,000 tons/year

Description

This solicitation is to establish contracts for the hauling and disposal of dewatered biosolids produced at Miami-Dade County's Central District Wastewater Treatment Plant (CDWWTP) and North District Wastewater Treatment Plant (NDWWTP). The services include hauling and disposal of Class B and Non-Class B biosolids by any legal and approved method, including composting, offsite Class AA treatment, land application, landfill disposal, or other lawful disposal methods. The contract term is for an initial 60 months with an option to renew for an additional 5 years. Award will be made to the lowest priced responsive and responsible bidders per group based on combined total value of the initial term and option to renew period.
