The State of Minnesota Department of Administration is seeking proposals for comprehensive statewide pest control services for insects and rodents. - Government Buyer: - State of Minnesota Department of Administration, Office of State Procurement, Facilities Management Division - Scope of Services: - Pest control for insects (roaches, ants, flies, spiders, bees, wasps, silverfish, and other arthropods) - Control of commensal and semi-commensal rodents (mice, rats, squirrels, chipmunks) - Services divided into 11 geographic service zones; responders may bid on any or all zones but must cover the entire zone(s) offered - Includes initial setup, weekly and monthly inspections, emergency and non-emergency hourly services, and optional pest reduction mapping and reporting - Notable facilities include state government buildings and federally owned sites such as the Arden Hills Army Training Site and St. Paul 55th Civil Support Team Armory - Exclusions: - No services for invasive plants, bed bugs, spongy moths, birds, bats, snakes, raccoons, or vertebrates other than specified rodents - Requirements: - Minimum five years of commercial pest control experience - Proof of licensure and insurance (including pollution liability) - Use of EPA-registered pesticides and adherence to integrated pest management practices - Detailed pest monitoring, mapping, and reporting - Pricing must be submitted by service zone with fixed maximum rates and cost-plus equipment pricing - Estimated Contract Value: - $500,000 to $600,000 annually - No specific OEMs or named vendors; open to all qualified pest control service providers
