Description
The City of Bend is advancing to the next phase of the Outback Facility Improvements Project, which involves the design and construction of water pretreatment facilities and in-conduit hydroelectric generation facilities using existing water diverted to the Water Filtration Facility. The project also includes the realignment of the Forest Service 4606 road at the Outback Site. The work aims to prevent interruptions in drinking water supply during wildfires, power outages, and other natural events causing heavy sediment loading in Bridge Creek. The City has selected an Owner's Representative and plans to use the Construction Manager/General Contractor (CM/GC) delivery method for design and construction. An optional on-site informational session will be held for prospective proposers to provide an overview and allow site visits and questions.
