Anaheim Public Utilities is seeking a qualified vendor to provide annual preventive maintenance and calibration services for Hach water quality instruments at the Lenain Water Treatment Plant and associated laboratories. - Government Buyer: - City of Anaheim Public Utilities Department (APU) - OEMs and Vendors: - Hach (primary OEM for all referenced instruments) - Products/Services Requested: - Annual on-site preventive maintenance and calibration for Hach water quality instruments, including: - Turbidimeters (TU5300, Ultraturb SC) - Chlorine Analyzers (CL-17, CL-17SC) - pH Sensors - UV-VIS Spectrophotometers (DR6000) - Full-service maintenance and repair, including all necessary parts, labor, travel, and consumables - Technical support, firmware/software updates, calibration reports, and certifications - Loaner instrument support during repairs - Unique or Notable Requirements: - All work must be performed by the vendor’s own qualified personnel (no subcontracting) - Vendor must have at least three years of experience servicing Hach water quality instrumentation - Vendor must hold a current calibration certification (e.g., ISO/IEC 17025 or equivalent) - Vendor must maintain a field service presence in the greater Orange County/Anaheim area - Strict adherence to service schedules, with emergency on-site response required within one calendar day - Liquidated damages for delays and compliance with Hach OEM standards - Contract term is two years, with up to four one-year renewals possible
Description
The City of Anaheim Public Utilities Department is soliciting proposals for annual preventive maintenance and calibration services for Hach water quality instruments. The services are to support ongoing water quality monitoring and regulatory compliance at the Lenain Water Treatment Plant and associated laboratory facilities. The selected contractor will perform on-site maintenance and calibration, provide parts, labor, and travel, deliver calibration reports and certifications, and offer technical support.
