Nash County, North Carolina, is seeking qualified contractors for a five-year, pre-event stand-by contract to provide comprehensive disaster debris removal services for the County and its incorporated municipalities. - Government Buyer: - Nash County Solid Waste Division (Finance Office) - Scope of Services: - Disaster debris removal from public and private properties, including right-of-ways - Debris management site operations, maintenance, and closure - Hazardous waste abatement and demolition of hazardous structures - Technical assistance related to disaster debris management - Emergency road clearing with equipment and labor - Products/Services Requested: - Removal and hauling of construction & demolition (C&D) debris and vegetative debris - Demolition and removal of structures - Extraction and disposal of hazardous stumps - Clearing debris from drainageways - Removal and disposal of silt, mud, sand, white goods, household hazardous waste, dead animal carcasses, and spoiled food - Grinding of vegetative storm debris - Equipment rental (loaders, dozers, trucks, etc.) and labor for emergency road clearing - Pricing: - Unit-rate based pricing for various debris types and services (by cubic yard, ton, stump, tree, pound, etc.) - Lump sum pricing for debris management site operations - Notable Requirements: - Contract is pre-event, stand-by with no immediate or annual cost to the County - May be utilized by Nash County and its municipalities, each able to enter their own agreements - Contractors must comply with all applicable federal laws and funding requirements - Contract awarded on a fixed-price, not-to-exceed, or cost-reimbursement basis - No specific OEMs or vendors are named in the solicitation

The intent is to establish a pre-event contract at no immediate or annual cost to the County for disaster recovery services.
