Description

The FY 2026 Team Nutrition Training Grant: Growing Healthier Futures aims to enhance training for child nutrition professionals to improve meal quality, support wellness policies, and nutrition education emphasizing whole, minimally processed foods. The grant supports building sustainable infrastructure for NSLP, SBP, SFSP, and CACFP program operators. Applicants must select one of two objectives: Objective 1 focuses on training for School Meals Programs (NSLP, SBP, SFSP) to improve meal planning and preparation aligned with Dietary Guidelines, while promoting nutrition education and healthy school environments. Objective 2 targets training, mentorship, and technical assistance to CACFP providers to enhance meal planning and preparation for children and adults, deliver nutrition education, and promote healthy food environments at CACFP sites. Eligible applicants are government and state agencies administering these programs in the US and territories.
