Description

This project involves abandoning existing watermains and installing new ductile iron watermain pipes ranging from 4 to 12 inches in diameter using an open-trench method. It also includes installing new 2-inch copper water main pipe via trenchless moling, storm drainage improvements, and assisting Seattle Public Utilities Water Operations with watermain and water service connections. Additional work includes installing a pressure regulating station with discharge piping, an air gap vault, and a SCADA monitoring system at NW 201st St. Final surface restoration of roadway and landscaping, including ADA curb ramp improvements, is part of the project.
