Description

The general scope of this project is to remove the existing three (3) 40,000-gallon fuel tanks and one (1) 7,500-gallon spill connection tank and replace them with appropriately sized modern tanks and to replace the monitoring/control systems to improve maintainability, meet the backup fuel supply requirements, and meet regulatory compliance requirements.

The Buffalo VAMC requires a Contractor to perform the construction work necessary to accomplish this goal.  The Contractor shall provide all supervision, labor, services, tools, equipment, and materials required to perform work. Work under this effort is fully described in the project drawings and specifications.  Additional administrative and management related requirements are described throughout this document.
