Description
The Eastern Washington University has completed an inventory of human remains in accordance with the Native American Graves Protection and Repatriation Act (NAGPRA). The inventory determined a cultural affiliation between the human remains and Indian Tribes or Native Hawaiian organizations. The notice details the repatriation process, which may occur on or after August 3, 2026. The notice is issued by the Department of the Interior and the National Park Service.
