Description
The Coast Guard is establishing two temporary safety zones in navigable waters of Lake Erie near Lakeside, OH, each within a 350-yard radius of designated locations: the Lakeside Association Dock and a fireworks barge at specified coordinates. These zones are established to protect personnel, vessels, and the marine environment from hazards during an over water fireworks display. Entry into these zones is prohibited unless authorized by the Captain of the Port Detroit or their designated representative. The safety zones will be enforced on July 4, 2026, from 9:30 p.m. to 10:30 p.m., with a rain date of July 5, 2026, at the same times.
