Description
The Coast Guard will enforce safety zones established in 33 CFR 165.1332 for annual firework displays in the Captain of the Port, Sector Puget Sound area of responsibility to ensure safety of life on navigable waters during events held from July through September 2026. The regulation identifies the regulated areas for these events, and during enforcement periods, operators of vessels in the regulated area must comply with lawful directions from the Patrol Commander or any Official Patrol displaying a Coast Guard ensign. The safety zones include all waters of Puget Sound, Washington, extending to a 450-yard radius from specified launch sites. The Coast Guard will issue advanced notification of enforcement via Broadcast Notice to Mariners and Local Notice to Mariners.
