Description
This rulemaking establishes a temporary safety zone for certain navigable waters of Western Lake Erie within a 150-yard radius of 1314 Mirheath Drive in Huron, OH. The safety zone is needed to protect personnel, vessels, and the marine environment from potential hazards during a fireworks event. Entry of vessels or persons into this safety zone is prohibited during the enforcement period unless authorized by the Captain of the Port Detroit. The safety zone will be enforced from 9 p.m. through 11 p.m. on July 5, 2026.
