Description
The Coast Guard is establishing a temporary safety zone on the Kanawha River from mile marker 57.5 to 60.5 to facilitate fireworks displays for the America 250th anniversary celebration. This safety zone is to protect personnel, vessels, and the marine environment from hazards associated with an overwater fireworks display. Entry into this zone is prohibited unless authorized by the Captain of the Port, Ohio Valley. The safety zone will be enforced on July 4, 2026, from 9:15 p.m. to 10 p.m.
