Salt Lake City Department of Airports is seeking a qualified operator to manage the Concessionaire & Tenant Central Receiving and Distribution Center (CRDC) at Salt Lake City International Airport. - Government Buyer: Salt Lake City Corporation, Department of Airports (SLCDA) - OEMs/Equipment Provided by City: - Peterbilt (trucks) - Noble Lift (electric and manual pallet jacks) - Crown (electric and manual pallet jacks) - Global Industrial (cylinder cart) - Rapiscan (x-ray and explosives trace detection machines) - Products/Equipment Provided: - 2 Peterbilt 220 box trucks - 2 Noble Lift LFP24-150 electric pallet jacks - 2 Crown WP3035-45 electric pallet jacks - 8 Crown PTH-50 manual pallet jacks - 1 Global Industrial CT-6 cylinder cart - 1 Rapiscan 632-DV x-ray machine - 1 Rapiscan Itemiser 5X ETD machine - 1 refrigerated storage facility - 22,028 sq. ft. of warehouse and office space - Services Requested: - Full management and operation of the CRDC, including receiving, warehousing, and distribution for all airport tenants (retail, food & beverage, duty-free, general tenants) - Notable Requirements: - Minimum three years of recent, continuous experience operating a CRDC in a comparable airport environment - Demonstrated financial responsibility (three years of reviewed financial statements) - Ability to be bonded and licensed in Utah - Mandatory pre-proposal meeting and site tour - Strict conflict of interest and communication rules per Salt Lake City Code - All equipment and inventory used for CRDC operations remain City property and revert to the City after contract termination

Salt Lake City Corporation, through its Department of Airports, is soliciting proposals from qualified firms to provide Concessionaire & Tenant Central Receiving and Distribution Center operator services at the Salt Lake City International Airport. The scope includes managing the central receiving and distribution center operations for airport tenants. The solicitation includes a mandatory pre-proposal meeting and requires submission of proposals by August 14, 2026. The contract is expected to commence on July 1, 2027.
