This opportunity is for the replacement and installation of sliding gates and drop arms at the U.S. Embassy Oslo, managed by the Department of State's GSO Procurement Office. - Government Buyer: - U.S. Embassy Oslo, GSO Procurement Office - Scope of Work: - Complete removal and disposal of existing hydraulic and electrical gate control system and drop arms - Installation of a new fully electric gate control system, including PLC and three-phase motor - Replacement of gate wheel with teethed gear wheel and track - Installation of one set of drop arms with integrated lighting - Provision of four remote controls - Cleaning and waste management in compliance with Norwegian regulations - Defense Base Act (DBA) insurance and Value Added Tax (VAT) are separate line items - Products/Services Requested: - Replacement and installation services for sliding gates and drop arms (1 lot) - Defense Base Act Insurance (1 lot) - Value Added Tax (1 lot) - Unique/Notable Requirements: - Transition from hydraulic/electrical to fully electric gate control system - Compliance with Norwegian waste management regulations - Work to be performed during standard business hours, excluding local and bank holidays - All labor, materials, and equipment must be provided by the contractor - No specific OEMs or product part numbers are specified in the solicitation.

Description

The U.S. Embassy Oslo has a requirement for a contractor to provide services for the replacement and installation of sliding gates and drop arms.  In accordance with the Scope of Work, the contractor shall perform all services including furnishing all labor, materials and equipment to complete the work required. 

The Government may award the contract based on the initial offer without discussion. The resultant contract will be a firm-fixed-price type contract. 

Offerors shall be registered in the SAM (System for Award Management prior to submittal of their proposal.
