The California Air National Guard, 146th Airlift Wing (146th AW) at Channel Islands ANG Station, Port Hueneme, is seeking to procure specialized wireless communication equipment for its operations. - Government Buyer: - California Air National Guard, 146th Airlift Wing, Channel Islands ANG Station, Port Hueneme - OEMs and Vendors: - TTM Technologies (OEM of TruLink AWIS Communication Kits and Portable Transceivers) - Bose (OEM of A30 ANR Aviation Headset) - Products/Services Requested: - 20 TruLink Aircraft Wireless Intercom System (AWIS) Communication Kits (NSN 5895-NCM-082858 / Part Number 780-0075-0001) - Each kit includes: - 1 TruLink Portable Transceiver (Part Number 780-1000-001-CF0095-M25) - 1 Bose A30 Active Noise Reduction (ANR) Aviation Headset - Unique/Notable Requirements: - Equipment must be system-approved, certified, and fully interoperable with the existing AWIS at the 146th AES - Sole source to TTM Technologies as OEM, but other authorized sources capable of supplying the complete kit may submit quotes - Emphasis on compatibility and certification for mission-critical communications

This Presolicitation Notice is published in accordance with RFO FAR 5.101(c) requirements.

It is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government, implied or otherwise, to issue a solicitation or award a contract. 

The California Air National Guard, 146th Airlift Wing (146th AW) Channel Islands ANG Station, Port Hueneme has a requirement entitled: 146 AES TruLink Aircraft Wireless Intercom System (AWIS) Communication Kits

The 146th AW intends to solicit a quote in accordance with RFO FAR 12.201-1 Simplified procedures as a non-competitive, sole source requirement to intended source TTM Technologies, the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM).  Quote will be evaluated on technical and price, for award of a firm-fixed price purchase order prior to 30 September 2026.  Procurement of these kits is mission critical as the specific equipment is system-approved, certified, and fully inter-operable with the 146th AES existing AWIS.

The general scope of the requirement is 20 TruLink AWIS Kits (NSN 5895-NCM-082858 / Part Number 780-0075-0001) each consisting of one (1) TruLink Portable Transceiver Part #780-1000-001-CF0095-M25) and one (1) Bose A30 Active Noise Reduction (ANR) Aviation Headset to be delivered to California Air National Guard Station, 146th Airlift Wing Channel Islands, 100 Mulcahey Dr, Port Hueneme, California no later than 01 May 2027.

Other interested responsible sources, authorized to supply the complete kit, may submit a quote which will be considered and evaluated by the agency.

This Presolicitation Notice is not a Request for Quote (RFQ), Request for Proposal (RFP), or an Invitation for Bid (IFB).
