The U.S. Air Force at Kirtland Air Force Base is seeking a turnkey solution for the replacement and ongoing maintenance of its shop air compressor systems. - Government Buyer: - Department of the Air Force, 377th Air Base Wing (AFGSC), 377 MSG/PKB, Kirtland AFB, New Mexico - OEMs and Vendors: - Ingersoll Rand (primary OEM for compressors, oil water separator, and controllers) - Products/Equipment Requested: - Two (2) Ingersoll Rand RS37i (RS30-37i/RS30I) Fixed Speed Rotary Air Compressors with integrated air dryers, 120 PSI, 170 CPM, air-cooled - One (1) Ingersoll Rand Polysep PSG-30 Oil Water Separator, 390 CPM, 12-gal absorption module, 32-120°F operating range - Two (2) Ingersoll Rand Xe70M Controllers for system integration and management - Acceptance of equivalent models if they meet all specified technical requirements - Services Requested: - Full procurement, removal, disposal, installation, commissioning, and integration of new compressors and oil water separator - Preventive and corrective maintenance for all shop air compressor systems (including air dryers and ancillary equipment) for a base year plus four option years (up to 5 years total) - Quarterly preventive maintenance, annual maintenance control program submissions, and emergency response within 12 hours - Corrective maintenance and alterations, including troubleshooting, repairs, and replacement of defective parts - Unique/Notable Requirements: - Turnkey solution in accordance with manufacturer installation requirements and commercial best practices - 95% operational availability threshold for equipment - Technical brochures required for any proposed equivalent models - Emergency maintenance response within 12 hours; routine within 7 days - Replacement of two existing Atlas Copco GA132+ compressors with new Ingersoll Rand units
Description
See PWS for complete details This project will consist of the procurement, removal, disposal, installation, commissioning, and maintenance of two (2) Ingersoll Rand RS37i Air Compressors, one (1) Ingersoll Rand Polysep PSG-30 Oil Water Separator, and two (2) Ingersoll Rand Xe-70M controllers. Equivalent models are accepted; however, bids on equivalent models will need to include a brochure of all the technical specifications for review. Equivalent models will need to either have an integrated desiccant dryer or separate desiccant dryer that can handle the volume of two air compressors. The Contractor will be responsible for the complete installation of two (2) Ingersoll Rand RS37i Air Compressors and one (1) Ingersoll Rand Polysep PSG-30 Oil Water Separator.
The Contractor shall procure and provide a “turnkey” solution in accordance with the manufacturer’s installation requirements and standard commercial best practices for the following equipment:

In addition, the government requires a preventive (scheduled) and corrective (troubleshooting, repairs, and replacements) maintenance contract for all existing shop air compressor systems (See Appendixes in PWS for all currently used equipment), for the base year and four option years. The Contractor shall provide all management, labor, material, parts, equipment, transportation, certifications, and tools necessary to maintain, service, and calibrate the shop air compressors, air dryers and associated ancillary equipment.
