The U.S. Air Force at Scott Air Force Base is seeking a contractor to provide comprehensive inspection and maintenance services for wet chemical fire suppression systems in both commercial and residential cooking facilities. - Government Buyer: - U.S. Air Force, 375th Contracting Squadron (375 CONS), Scott Air Force Base, Illinois - 375 CES/Fire (Civil Engineering Squadron/Fire Department) - OEMs and Vendors: - Ansul (Ansul R-102 systems) - Pyro Chem - Guardian (Guardian III Residential systems) - Accurex - Products/Services Requested: - Inspection, semi-annual and annual maintenance, and hydrostatic testing for 42 wet chemical fire extinguishing systems across 30 buildings - Maintenance and inspection of 26 wet chemical fire extinguishing systems in 12 commercial cooking facilities - Maintenance and inspection of 17 Guardian III Residential systems in 18 non-commercial cooking facilities - Replacement of fusible links (up to 356 units), nozzles, CO charging cylinders, micro switches, batteries, and nitrogen cylinders (up to 2 per year) - Hydrostatic testing of cylinders (up to 7 per year) - Reimbursable parts and additional labor hours as needed - Unique or Notable Requirements: - Contractor must be certified to service Ansul, Pyro Chem, and Guardian III systems - Compliance with NFPA 17A (2024) fire suppression standards is mandatory - Coordination with the Fire Department and detailed reporting required - Background checks, security clearances, and training compliance for contractor personnel - Hybrid contract structure: firm-fixed price for predictable services, time-and-materials/labor-hour for unpredictable tasks - Small business set-aside under NAICS 561210 - Contract includes a base year plus four option years, with a possible six-month extension

Description

The awardee shall provide all personnel, equipment, tools, materials, supervision, and services necessary for the inspection and maintenance of 26 wet chemical fire extinguishing systems in 12 commercial cooking facilities and 17 wet chemical Guardian III Residential systems in 18 non-commercial cooking facilities. The services include semi-annual and annual maintenance, hydrostatic testing of cylinders, replacement of fusible links and miscellaneous essential parts i.e., nozzles, CO charging cylinders, micro switches, batteries etc., to maintain the operational condition of the wet chemical fire suppression systems.
