The U.S. Embassy Panama City, under the U.S. Department of State, is seeking offers for the procurement of two new 4x4 SUV vehicles for official use. - Government Buyer: - U.S. Department of State - U.S. Embassy Panama City - Products Requested: - Two (2) 4x4 SUV vehicles, 2026 model year or similar - Key features required: - 2.8L Diesel Turbo Intercooler engine - 6-speed automatic transmission with paddle shift - Seating for seven passengers (third row folding seats) - Triple-zone automatic air conditioning - Independent MacPherson suspension - Ventilated disc brakes on all wheels - Five doors, 265/60 R18 aluminum wheels - Smart-entry with push-button start and immobilizer - Seven airbags, reversing sensors (2 front & 4 rear), cross traffic alert (RCTA) - Electric power steering, panoramic view monitor - Rear wheel drive with partial 4x4 and rear differential lock - Unique/Notable Requirements: - Vehicles must be serviceable by authorized dealerships in Panama - Minimum 3-year or 100,000 km in-country warranty required - Delivery required within fifteen calendar days after contract award - Offerors must provide a descriptive specifications sheet and evidence of ability to acquire the vehicles - No specific OEMs, brands, or part numbers are named; offerors may propose any make/model meeting the specifications

Description

The U.S. Embassy in Panama has a requirement for the purchase of two (2)ea 4x 4 SUV Vehicles as per attachment.

Deliver F.O.B. destination to U.S. Embassy Panama, located in Demetrio B. Lakas, Clayton, no later than fifteen (15) calendar days after contract award. Additional requirements for this acquisition:  Provide a DESCRIPTIVE SPECIFICATIONS SHEET as part of the quotation.  The quotation shall include evidence of the prospective contractor’s commitment or explicit arrangement with a subcontractor (if any) demonstrating the vendor’s ability to acquire the required commodities, personnel necessary, resources, or warranty to fulfill the contract requirements.

FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors-Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition. Award will be made to the lowest priced, technically acceptable offeror. FAR 52.212-2, Evaluation – Commercial Products and Services (Nov 2021). Award will be made to the lowest priced, technically acceptable offeror.

All contractors must be registered in the SAM (System for Award Management) Database https://www.sam.gov , prior to submittal of their offer/quotations as prescribed under FAR 4.1102.

Prospective offerors shall submit evidence of their SAM registration with the submittal of offer/quotation.
