Birdville Independent School District (BISD) is seeking supplemental proposals to provide a wide range of local retail, grocery, and related goods and services to support its campuses and departments in the Dallas-Fort Worth area. - Government Buyer: - Birdville Independent School District (BISD), serving multiple cities in Tarrant County, Texas - Products and Services Requested: - Broad catalog of retail goods, groceries, and related products - Includes event rentals, promotional items, small appliances, and other district-utilized goods - Services such as catering, food trucks, event rentals (tables, chairs, decorations), photography, dry cleaning, entertainment, travel, embroidery, printing, small appliance repair, and more - Procurement Structure: - Multiple vendors will be awarded using a catalog discount structure - Purchases are made on an as-needed basis, subject to district purchasing limits - No specific OEMs or vendors are named; open to a wide range of suppliers - Unique or Notable Requirements: - All goods must be new, current production, and packaged per commercial standards - Vendors must comply with safety, legal, and ethical standards, including OSHA and educational code requirements - Criminal history checks required for vendor employees with access to district facilities or students - BISD encourages participation from minority and women-owned businesses - Vendors already awarded under previous related contracts are not eligible - The district reserves the right to adjust quantities and request substitutions with approval - Technical support and product training may be required - Evaluation and Contract Terms: - Proposals evaluated quarterly - Contract may be renewed for up to two additional one-year terms

Description

The Birdville Independent School District (BISD) is soliciting supplemental proposals for local retail and grocery services under solicitation number 016-24E. This contract enables BISD campuses and departments to make as-needed purchases for a wide range of goods and services in several Texas cities including Haltom City, Richland Hills, Hurst, North Richland Hills, and Watauga, as well as the surrounding DFW metroplex. The District intends to award contracts to multiple vendors using a catalog discount structure, with items and services subject to maximum purchasing limits as established by CH (Legal) and BISD Board Policy. Proposals will be evaluated quarterly, and the contract term includes an initial period through June 30, 2027, with up to two additional one-year renewal terms.
