This funding opportunity aims to establish the PRIMED-AI Program to develop innovative, reliable, cost-effective, and sustainable multimodal AI-based clinical decision support tools integrating clinical imaging with other health data. The program seeks to promote adoption of AI-based tools in clinical workflows for personalized medicine addressing significant health challenges. The NOFO solicits applications to create a Validation Center that will comprehensively evaluate and characterize AI-enabled, image-based multimodal CDS tools developed by the PRIMED-AI Consortium, focusing on verification, validation, interoperability, and uncertainty quantification. The Validation Center will systematically validate deliverables from various award recipients under the PRIMED-AI program.
