Description
The Pacific Fishery Management Council will convene a public meeting to review key management provisions for Pacific sardine in the Coastal Pelagic Species Fishery Management Plan, including reference points and control rules. The meeting will be held in person at the NMFS Southwest Fisheries Science Center and is open to the public with opportunities for public comment. The meeting dates are July 22 through July 24, 2026, from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Pacific Standard Time. The purpose is to develop recommendations and reports for consideration by the Pacific Council regarding sardine stock management.
