Description
This final rule establishes tolerances for residues of the pesticide diflufenican in or on multiple agricultural commodities including corn and soybean products. The regulation follows a petition submitted by Bayer CropScience to the EPA requesting maximum permissible residue levels. The rule is effective June 30, 2026, and objections or requests for hearings must be submitted by August 31, 2026. The EPA determined that the tolerances are safe based on aggregate exposure assessments including dietary and drinking water exposure. The regulation applies to agricultural producers, food manufacturers, and pesticide manufacturers.
