Description

This notice announces that the Information Collection Requests (ICRs) related to hazardous materials will be forwarded to the Office of Management and Budget (OMB) for renewal and extension. The ICRs describe the nature of the information collections and their expected burdens under various provisions of the Hazardous Materials Regulations (HMR). The collections include requirements for design qualification testing, periodic requalification, approval of equivalent packaging, reporting and recordkeeping for intermediate bulk containers (IBCs) and portable tanks. Comments on the proposed information collection are invited by July 1, 2026.
