Description

The Southeast Alaska Power Agency (SEAPA) has announced its intent to file a license application for the Tyee Lake Hydroelectric Project located near the head of Bradfield Canal, approximately 40 miles southeast of Wrangell, Alaska. SEAPA has filed a Pre-Application Document and requested to use the Traditional Licensing Process, which has been approved by the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC). The notice initiates informal consultations with various federal and state agencies regarding environmental and historic preservation compliance. The license application must be filed by July 31, 2029.
