Description
The Department of Homeland Security, through the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA), is establishing the Alliance of National Councils for Homeland Operational Resilience--Critical Infrastructure (ANCHOR-CI). This advisory body is composed of critical infrastructure sector, cross-sector, regional, and industry councils that provide group advice and recommendations to the Secretary of Homeland Security via the CISA Director. The purpose is to ensure a coordinated national effort to foster a secure and resilient critical infrastructure and cyberspace, facilitate the exchange of best practices related to technical assistance, and maintain collaboration mechanisms with Sector Risk Management Agencies. ANCHOR-CI is exempt from the Federal Advisory Committee Act and will be funded and administratively supported by CISA. Membership includes diverse representation from critical infrastructure owners, operators, government entities, and other private sector entities.
